Privacy policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026 · applies to Kaboomers: Tank Duels on Android and PC
The short version
Kaboomers does not ask for an account of its own and we do not collect personal information. Your progress is saved on your device and, on Android if you use Google Play Games, in your own Google Play Games account. If you play a friend online, your moves pass through our game server and are deleted within 12 hours.
What the game stores, and where
- Your progress and settings: campaign stars, challenge results, your level, coins, achievements, weapon statistics, the cosmetics you own, and your sound, aim-help and other settings. These are saved on your device, in the game's own storage. We never receive them.
- Android may include the game's storage in your device's own Google backup, as it does for most apps; that backup is between you and Google.
- Uninstalling the game (or clearing its data) deletes the copy on your device.
Google Play Games (Android)
On Android the game uses Google Play Games, which signs you in with the Play Games profile on your device. Through it the game sends Google your achievements and a copy of your progress (the same list as above, as a saved game in your account), so they come back when you reinstall or play on another phone. Google handles this under the Google Privacy Policy; we do not receive your Google account details, and the saved game is only readable by the game when you are signed in. You can see, hide or delete your Play Games data in the Play Games app or at your Google Account. Playing without signing in works the same, with progress kept only on the device.
What we collect
Nothing about you. The game has no account of its own, no advertising, no in-app purchases and no analytics of our own, and it does not use your contacts, location, camera, microphone or files.
Online matches
When you choose Online to play a friend, the two devices talk through our game server (relay.playkaboomers.com, run on Cloudflare). It passes on what is needed to play the same match on both screens: the four-letter room code, a random session number made for that visit, and your moves (weapon picks, driving, aiming and shots). It keeps these only so a dropped connection can catch up, and deletes the whole room within 12 hours of its last use. It holds no names, accounts or contact details, and nothing is used for advertising or analytics.
Like any internet service, Cloudflare handles your device's IP address to deliver the connection. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The game engine
Kaboomers is made with the Unity engine. Unity may send anonymous technical information about the device (for example its model, operating system and graphics hardware) to help improve the engine. This information does not identify you. See Unity's privacy policy for details.
App stores
If you download the game from Google Play or Steam, those stores handle your purchase and download under their own privacy policies.
Children
The game is made for teenagers and adults. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If a future version adds anything else that handles data, such as purchases or online leaderboards, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
